Brief: To design a BBC publicity stand for the 1999 Party Conferences to convey important messages about the BBC. Also needed for live radio broadcasts and access to BBC Online.
The Project: eMoot designed and built the entire stand for the BBC. To convey the BBC's important messages in an entertaining (and therefore memorable) way, eMoot designed Conference Challenge, an Interactive Television, fully-automated virtual quiz show. This used Peter Snow as a virtual quiz master, and required two delegates to play each other as though part of a television show. The BBC's messages were encapsulated within questions as part of the game. eMoot has since developed FutureWorld Challenge.
