The Tower of London Welcome Centre
In 2004 we were commissioned by Historic Royal Palaces to design and install the interior for the new Tower of London Welcome Centre, part of a major construction project to redevelop the area around Tower Hill.
We developed a 4-screen video presentation, an introduction to the Tower of London for visitors to the area. Three of the screens were blended together to create a large, single canvas. The fourth screen provides translations and sub-titles in a number of languages.
Seven tracks of music and effects complement the video presentation.
The show - based on Watchout - starts and shuts down automatically, driven by our own bespoke control software. Projectors, PC's and other control systems are all brought together under a single control interface.
